The weather department has put a high alert for Tamil Nadu State as cyclone might enter on April 30. The fishermen are also suggested to stay away from the coastal area. According to the reports of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) cyclone Fani can enter on the north region of the coastal area of Tamil Nadu after 5 days. This can stay till 1st of May and it is also assumed that there might be a heavy rainfall all in Puducherry and areas of Tamil Nadu. Also, there can be a cyclone of sand.
According to reports, there can be a wind flow of 115 kilometers per hour and lightning in the sky. Just because of this all fishermen are suggested to stay away from the coastal area and people of the nearby regions are made aware 2 to be ready for the same. A red alert has also been notified. Before this, last year in November 2018 cyclone Gaja also had entered which took the lives of 40 people and in high volume, the public property was destroyed.
The system is actually formed over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and in the adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. The organization also predicted that it might continue to move west-northwest and gaining latitude.
A trough of low at mean sea level lies over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining the southeast Bay of Bengal with a big cyclonic circulation aloft extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level as noted by IMD in its advisory.
