Kashmir will be one of the most developed regions in the next 10 years....the process has begun with the inauguration of the Vande Bharat train.
He added on by saying, 'Mahatma Gandhi used the railway network to connect with people and gain Independence. Independence struggle got momentum as he used railway journeys to send his message across. Just like Independence, the railways will be an important tool in achieving the $5 trillion economy goal of PM Modi'. He was accompanied by Union Ministers Jitendra Singh, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Harsh Vardhan.
However, Jitender Singh said 'the abrogation of Article 370 provisions in J&K was a gift for the people of the region after three decades of struggle' and the launch of the train was another gift that would contribute in building a new Jammu and Kashmir.
