Malayalam actor Mammootty thanks actor Suriya.
Malayalam actor Mammootty's recent movies 'Peranbu' and 'Yatra' are undoubtfully a few of the best of his entire career. And, Tamil actor Suriya has also become starstruck by Mammootty's performance in both the films. The actor felt inspired by the characters Mammooka has chosen and performed.
Praising the Mollywood star, the Singham actor said that he was so astonished by the choice of films that Mammootty is making. The actor took to his official Twitter handle to share his opinion on the movies. He ,tweeted, "Recently #Peranbu n now #Yatra so many feedbacks and what a varied choice #mammukka...Thank you, team, for inspiring us with this truth and purity of cinema! All respects"
Acknowledging to the honour made by Suriya, Mammootty tweeted, "Thank you Suriya ! Love to you and family ! The teams of both films would be delighted to hear this !"
In 'Peranbu' Mammootty played the role of Amudhavan and the character really demanded to take effort which the actor has done it with perfection. 'Peranbu' is a Tamil film directed by National award winning filmmaker Ram. And, the recently released Telugu movie 'Yatra' was a game changer, to the Malayalam actor as the performance delivered cannot be left unpraised.
'Yatra' is based on the real-life incidents of politician YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who served as Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009. The actor was charismatic in both the films as an INC member and also as an actor. Now, two movies are creating waves down in the South, as they are taking the movies from South to an International arena.
