BJP defended 32 office 91 seats today in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections. The party will be likely to face an uphill task to get the same numbers as of 2014. In this Congress has got depended on its all seats which the party actually won in the previous election. 91 Lok Sabha seats where are included in 1st phase in which the union territories like Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep were also included.

If we talk about the stake of BJP, the party had enjoyed an upper hand of the remaining 49 seats in the previous election. In the north side, states like Bihar, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh when the seats where BJP won 16 seats out of 17. But this time due to the alliance of smaller parties or other parties BJP may face an uphill to get all seats back. The saffron party has to make again in West Bengal that has come to a friend in North as regarding the election for Lok Sabha. It can also take games in West Tripura and probably outer Manipur.

If we talked about the stake of the Congress party, then Congress will defend seven seats it won in 2014, including Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Mizoram. Also, it has opportunity gain in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, UP, Chhattisgarh, and Meghalaya.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are the two major seats in phase 1. It will be the first time when both these two States will be in Lok Sabha elections after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
