Amrish Puri made his debut movie at the age of 39 and since then has made his mark as one of the most remarkable villains in Bollywood industry. Amrish Puri was born on June 22nd,1932 in Punjab.
Mandan Puri and Chaman Puri are his siblings played character roles in the movies. Amirish Puri gave his 1st auditions for a lead role in 1954 and was rejected. Later he went on to work in theaters and also worked in voice-over parts.
His Bollywood debut was in the year 1971 in the movie Reshma Aur Shera.
Later he played a supporting role in a Hollywood Oscar winning movie Gandhi, which was also his debut movie in Hollywood. From then nothing, just stopped him, he has worked in almost 200 movies or even more in almost more than six languages, which includes Hindi, Kannada, Telegu, Tamil, Marathi, Malyalam, Panjabi and English.
He reached a place where there is no requirement for an introduction when his name was taken.
